I am a first time homeowner, and i have to say these have been a delight. You dont really understand how many trips you make in and out of the house in the spring time when you have a yard to mow, trees to prune, weeds to whack, mail to get, dogs to walk, kids to chase, and the last thing i want to ...do is put on shoes and socks that are just going to get wet and dirty and ruined. So i just slip on my all terrain crocs and get stuff done. Wet, dry, hot, muddy sandy what ever it doesnt matter, just hose em off and you are all set. I Really like the adjustable achilles pad as well. It feels like an even softer croslite material, and it doesnt rub wet or dry or sweaty. The only complaint, and im literally reaching here, is that it is impossible to prop your feet up with your feet crossed and not get your ankle rubbed by the velcro. Im not going to say that their appearance is a con, because I knew darn well what i was signing up for when i bought them. Function over form. The other day i hiked 2 miles on the Appalachian trail wearing the crocs without socks on hard uneven terrain without socks while metal detecting. If i had actually planned my day, these shoes wouldnt have been the first shoes i thought of. but they let me get into places my buddy wasnt willing to go because of deep water and mud. Overall a great experience, no blisters. I was dumbfounded. PLEASE dont stop making this an option for crocs.
